Shadow detail from the incredible branding from our friends Pop & Pac Meaning ‘to eat’ in Indonesian, Makan is all about the food
View from the rear laneway into Makan. Accessed through the building lobby by day, and through the rear laneway by night when the space transforms from a lunchtime eatery into an evening restaurant. Concealed LED lighting allows the tone of the space to transform from bright and vibrant to moody hues into the evening. Perfect for just relaxing and enjoying those ribs…. check out the Broadsheet review in our profile
Purple hues in Makan, one of our favourite projects from 2018. Stripped back to a bare essence and with a focus on tactile, sensory materials, the space is all about celebrating the incredible food produced by the talented sisters Tasia and Gracia Seger
Display detail for @actofwine natural wine store using local rammed earth and timber. The individual wine bottles are the hero, with the design celebrating materials that are from the earth, the same as natural wine.

@habitusliving have featured the ZWEI designed Code Black Coffee in the feature ‘A Cultural Guide To Café Design’ as a space that truly speaks to the location in which it was created.
